A Message from the CEO
My career:
*Over 25 years in the criminal justice system as a law enforcement officer (SWAT, K-9, undercover operations, Bomb Team, Arson Investigator, Detective) a correctional officer (juvenile correctional facility) and a parole agent.
*An additional 5 years as an administrator in private security and executive protection.
*30 years teaching personal protection, use of force, self defense, martial arts, executive safety and firearms.
*30 years authoring articles & public speaking on topics related to personal or corporate safety.
*Fugitive Bail Enforcement (Bounty Hunter – and it is nothing like DOG!) experience and extensive private investigations.
Common thread through all of this was working in specific roles that required direct confrontation with violent people. I understand both the complexities and horror of violence. I have witnessed and watched people do unspeakable things to each other.
I have consulted with, or provided protection for, the famous and not-so-famous.
I humbly acknowledge I have had the great fortune and blessing of being mentored over the years by some of the best in their field. When I reflect on the people God has put in my life as teachers and mentors…….I am awestruck. I could have never scripted this part of my life any better than it has played out.
I have had a “front row seat to the greatest show on earth”.
What motivates Assault Prevention today is the knowledge that a significant amount of personal risk can be eliminated or reduced through some easily understood principles. You have the beginnings of that right here at your fingertips. Please read these articles. - Provided consultation and instruction to 50+ private and non-profit organizations.
- Provided personal protection for Executives, VIP’s, dignitaries, music and film celebrities.
- Completed Threat Assessments for targeted individuals and groups.
- Completed Vulnerability Assessments for corporations and organizations.
- Provided individual and group instruction to citizen groups and civilians since 1990.
- Since 1980, has provided public speaking engagements and presentations for national, regional and local interests.
